Return policy
If you are a consumer, you have the right under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act to cancel an order made from the online store (distance selling) by notifying us no later than 14 days after receiving the goods or the last batch of goods. If it concerns the regular delivery of goods, the cancellation period is calculated from the receipt of the first batch of goods.
The cancellation notice must be made clearly to our email myynti@elitebike.fi or alternatively with a written notice provided with the returned goods.
Product condition and trial
The consumer has the right to examine and try the product in the same way as in a store. For example, the bike may be ridden up to about 1 kilometer to determine its features and functionality. If the product has been used more than necessary to determine its features or functionality, we have the right to deduct from the refund an amount corresponding to the reduction in the value of the goods.
The product must be returned in its original packaging and carefully packed to remain undamaged during transport. However, the original packaging is not a prerequisite for the right of withdrawal.
If the purchase is canceled, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days from the cancellation notice to the return address mentioned below. The returner must be able to prove, if necessary, that the goods were returned within the deadline, for example with a return receipt.
Return costs
The returner is responsible for the costs arising from the return unless otherwise agreed. These costs will not be refunded to the customer.
For returns, we use the payment intermediary Checkout's return function. The payment will be refunded to the original payment method without delay and no later than 14 days from the cancellation notice. However, the refund may be withheld until we have received the goods back or the customer has provided proof of sending the goods.
NOTE! The consumer is responsible for ensuring that the package is properly packed so that it remains undamaged during transport.
Shipment inspection, defects, and problem situations
Please check the delivery immediately upon receipt. If the product is lost or damaged during transport, does not correspond to your order, or has a defect, please notify our Customer Service as soon as possible after you have noticed the defect. In consumer sales, we comply with the mandatory defect liability provisions of the Consumer Protection Act in case of defects.

Limitation of liability
Elite Bike Finland Oy is not liable for indirect or direct damages related to the order, delivery, or product, unless otherwise stipulated by mandatory consumer protection law or other mandatory legislation.
Disputes
We primarily aim to resolve any possible disputes regarding your order by agreement, so please contact our customer service first.
If a dispute concerning the sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may bring the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi) to be resolved. Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the consumer advice service of the magistrates (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
